Employees Don't Leave Companies. They Leave Managers.

A POOR WORK ENVIRONMENT MEANS EXPENSIVE TURNOVER, HIGH-STRESS
AND ZERO MOTIVATION.

Business owners spend years building successful businesses, but it can all come crumbling down when managers aren't equipped with leadership skills.

If you want to guarantee long-term success, you'll have to invest in leadership training for your newly promoted managers.

Fully trained, high-caliber managers will mean retaining the best people for the job, so your company can soar miles ahead of your competition.

But, the biggest challenge newly promoted managers face is the transition from being individual contributors to team managers.

So, how do you make sure your managers become the people your employees love and provide the influence they need?

Help them get rid of imposter syndrome by training them on how to confidently lead their team and to become unstoppable in their new role.

You Don't Get A Second Chance At A First Impression- Start Your Leadership Role The Right Way

Any new managers need to be adequately trained with a solid foundation of communication, goal setting, time management and other skills to lead and empower employees to be productive and profitable.

After being in the HR game for over 23 years, training managers for over 15+ years, and even being featured in Entrepreneur, I've seen the good, bad and ugly in management.

After working with many clients, they practically begged for a unique leadership training program that helps create rock-solid managers who can become influential leaders.

WHEN NEW MANAGERS DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT LEADERSHIP SKILLS, THE ENTIRE TEAM FALLS APART.

Investing In Management Training Pays For Itself

Losing an employee due to poorly trained managers costs businesses up to 2X their salary to replace them.

WHATS THE INVESTMENT?

INVESTING IN YOUR MANAGEMENT WILL GET YOU...

  • Engaged employees who go the extra mile

  • Less turnover (meaning money saved) and a more dedicated team

  • A positive work environment achieving real results

AN UNDERQUALIFIED MANAGEMENT TEAM COULD MEAN...

  • Constant turnover and extensive rehiring

  • Uninspired work performance.

  • A negative work environment and poor communication

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO LEAD AN UNSTOPPABLE TEAM?

How do you avoid your employees running the opposite way when they see you at the water cooler? You need to be an influential leader that’s also someone your team can look up to and WANT to learn from.

There are hundreds of leadership courses, but none of them are appealing, fun or engaging - making their drop-off extremely high. So, I designed a framework that helps you navigate your new role with ease.

BECOME AN INFLUENTIAL LEADER USING THE C-L-T FRAMEWORK

The things that made you successful as an employee will no longer work in a management role. But that’s okay because I’m introducing a new leadership framework that will stick with you forever in all your leadership roles!

If you want the hype and the title of “Manager of the Year,” you have to learn the C-L-T Framework. That'll help you master your leadership skills to become your team’s new favorite manager and go-to confidante.

Even business owners need to count on their managers to drive the company’s success and productivity. Do you want to learn the C-L-T Framework and how to apply it to your leadership style and implement it into your daily work routine?

I NEED THIS

Hi, I'm Amanda Haddaway

I’m an advisor, coach and consultant for managers, executives and business owners.

I accidentally landed in the world of HR…

For 23 years, I’ve dedicated my time, energy and expertise to HR.

Almost seven years ago, I decided to launch my business, HR Answerbox, to work exclusively with small businesses. So, here’s what happened…

At just 22 years old, after my contract lost funding, I fell into a recruiting role within the same company.

I bounced around the Human Resources department and filled up my resume with new skills.

I fell in love with recruiting, training and employee communications. But I realized that my real passion was helping managers succeed.

Soon, I had an opportunity to advance my own career at a new organization and I stepped into HR Management.

After 11 years in that role, a company acquisition and a side hustle later, I knew it was time to take my freelancing business full time.

It didn’t take me very long to replace my salary in my first year of business.

SO, WHAT INSPIRED ME TO FOCUS ON MANAGERS AND NOT EMPLOYEES?

The truth is, I’ve experienced good (and bad) managers over the years.

I distinctly remember one boss in particular who made me want to run and hide from them. They made me want to quit every single day - that’s how bad they were.

From micro-managing to killing my confidence, debilitating me from accomplishing successful work…

I knew deep down that wasn’t sustainable, and I needed an exit plan. So, I did what any sensible person would do… I quit!

Okay, I didn’t leave the company entirely, just that department.

When we think about 'good' and 'bad' managers, we always pinpoint and remember who fell into each category by name.

It's because psychologically, we're wired to remember how someone made us feel.

For example, my very first manager in HR, the lifesaver who offered me the job, took a chance on me, and we’ve been friends for over 20 years!

WHEN I PROVIDE MANAGER TRAINING FOR PRIVATE CLIENTS, we always do an ice-breaker exercise called " best manager, worst manager."

And every time, I notice the same results...

BEST MANAGERS

  • Supportive

  • Provide Feedback

  • Available As A Resource

  • Acted As A Coach or Mentor

WORST MANAGERS

  • Micro-Managed

  • Didn't Support Me

  • Weren't Available

  • Were Terrible Humans

  • Yelled/Screamed/Threw Things/Was Physically Agressive

"I've come up with a plan to meet with each of my staff at the 6-month interval following their annual review to make sure they are on course to meet their annual goals."

Manager

"I've scheduled regular meeting times with staff members, one on one, so they feel more appreciated and know that I care about them and want their input. I will push to get more involved in the hiring process, which to this point has been mostly done by the partners, but need to make them understand the value I can add as a manager in the hiring process."
